The Early Learning Coalition of Florida’s Gateway proudly recognizes Dr. Pamela Carswell for her remarkable 13 years of dedicated service to the children and families of Columbia, Hamilton, Lafayette, Suwannee, and Union counties. Throughout her tenure, Dr. Carswell brought steadfast leadership, insight, and an unwavering commitment to early learning, helping to strengthen programs and expand opportunities for the communities we serve.
Serving as the College President’s designee on the Board of Directors for the Early Learning Coalition of Florida’s Gateway, Inc., Dr. Carswell played a vital role in guiding strategic decisions and fostering meaningful partnerships. Her voice consistently reflected both a deep understanding of education and a genuine passion for ensuring that every child has access to high-quality early learning experiences.
As a longtime resident of the region and a dedicated advocate for early education, Dr. Carswell’s contributions have left a lasting impact. Her work has helped shape a stronger foundation for families and a brighter future for countless children across our service area.
As she retires from her role as Florida Gateway College’s board representative, we extend our deepest gratitude for her years of service, leadership, and advocacy. Her legacy will continue to influence and inspire the work we do every day.
