Child Care Resource & Referral Services
Child Care Resource and Referral Services is an information service which does not license, endorse, nor recommend any type of early care and education provider over another. It is suggested that parents visit several programs to determine which one best serves the needs of their family. Parents are encouraged to visit providers before a decision is made to place their child.
There are no charges/fees associated with a provider listing in the Child Care Resource and Referral Services Database or for referrals to your program. If you are asked to provide a payment for a referral or listing in the Child Care Resource and Referral Services database, please call Florida’s Office of Early Learning Resource & Referral Network at 1-866-357-3239. The information reported about a provider’s program is objective program information that is based on standards that are attainable for providers based on their type of care.
What we Do
The Coalition Strives to:
Promote quality Early Learning programs in the five counties. Identify programs that provide young children with experiences that will help them achieve school readiness.
Provide developmental screenings for young children. Work with public schools, private and faith based providers and family child care homes to promote quality Early Learning experiences that focus on all areas of a child’s development.
Help increase the availability of quality early learning programs in the five counties by assisting new providers and recruiting providers to participate in the School Readiness and VPK programs.
Provide families with the early learning and child care support they need to help them to achieve economic self-sufficiency.
